Gary L. Kohlbeck, age 54, of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 2, 2018 in Estes Park, Colorado while on vacation. Visitation will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 East Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield, WI on Monday February 11, from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 12 at Cornerstone Community Church in Marshfield. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am.
Gary was born September 29th, 1964, son of Roger and Geraldine (McCulloch) Kohlbeck in Marshfield, Wisconsin. On July 19th, 1986 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Vicki Daniels, in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, deer hunting, snowmobiling, and especially riding on his Harley Davidson! He loved going to outdoor concerts with his wife and meeting up with friends to listen to local bands. He always seemed to have the right tool for anybody to borrow to finish their projects. Always lending a hand to help, even when they didn’t ask! Haha
Gary is lovingly survived by his wife, Vicki, of 32 years: two daughters Makala Kohlbeck and Kerenna Kohlbeck. He is survived by his father, Roger Kohlbeck, of Marshfield, and three sisters. Debbie (Mark) Kroening of Arpin, WI, Vicki (Lee) Williams of Pittsville, WI, and Connie (Gregg) Greenwald of Marshfield, WI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his mother Geraldine Kohlbeck and father-n-law Roger Daniels Sr. and several Uncles and cousins.
Those wishing to express their sympathy are encouraged to make donations in Gary’s name to the COPD Foundation in lieu of sending flowers.
