A poem written by his beloved wife Janice:
You are my love and my best friend too
I miss you so much and don’t know what to do
The house is so quiet-not even a sound
I look for you but you’re no-where to be found
I call out your name and ask where you are
But you don’t answer-the silence has gone too far
The sun is shining in the beautiful blue skies
Yet the tears are falling like rain from my eyes
I needed you here to walk by my side
You promised you’d be here for the long ride
I know it wasn’t your fault and you didn’t want to go
But my eyes are still weeping and my heart is breaking so
You are my lover and my best friend You’re in my soul.
