Jerry Lee Brown, 81, of Arpin, passed away into Heaven's arms on February 29th, 2024, with his family beside him.
Jerry was born at home in Marshfield on July 26th, 1942, to Monica (Bartel) and Otto Brown. He graduated from Columbus High school in 1960. While he was in high school, he loved playing on the basketball team. He joined the National Guard and was called in for the Berlin Crisis. He was a sharpshooter and received many medals.
He met the love of his life, Barbara (Janssen), and they were married in 1963.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, logging, planting & harvesting potatoes and watching Wisconsin sports.
He was a laborer of the Local Union 268; Husband, Dad & Grandpa (Pa).
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of 60 years; daughters: Jannel (Sean) Staver, Lisa (Michael/Viking Mike) Wendt; four grandchildren: Mitch Jacobson, Brad Kirchner, Tanya Kirchner, Heather (Kendall) Kuehn; great-grandchildren: Ashton, Levi, Peyton, Lovella, Mason, Kaven, Brylar, & Alexander; sister, Helen Meyer; brother-in-law, Larry Janssen. He is further survived by his beloved pets: Rusty and Peggy Sue. Preceded in death were his parents, Otto and Monica Brown; siblings: Mercedes Kramer, Jacqueline Wolfe and James (Sonny) Brown.
A Private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
He received the best of care from his loving wife. Also, many thanks to Compassus for the wonderful care provided by them. Jerry will always be with us in our hearts.
