Alan Lee Ladwig

Alan Lee Ladwig, age 64, of Marshfield, Wisconsin, passed away at the Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by his family on October 12th, 2023.    A Funeral Service and Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 20, 2023, at the Hansen & Schilling Funeral Home located at 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held at the same location from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at which time the service will be held. Burial will take place at the Town of Rock Cemetery at a later date.

Alan was born July 9, 1959, the son of Edwin and Iona Ladwig in Marshfield, Wisconsin.  He graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1977.   On June 14, 1997 Alan was united in marriage to the love of his life Mary Osgood at Christ Lutheran Church.  Alan was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

In his spare time, Alan enjoyed woodworking, farming, working on vehicles, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He especially enjoyed working on his tractors and doing field work. 

Those that knew Alan best will miss his smile, his caring personality, his short fuse, and his thankfulness.

Alan is lovingly survived by his wife, Mary; three children Isiah, Emma and Stephanie Trejos (Edwardo), three grandchildren, siblings Karl Ladwig (Lynette), Juliann Scheppler (Greg), Lynn Hutchinson (Gary), Mariann Merkel (Alvin) and Sue Cattanach (Brian).

Alan is preceded in death by his parents: Edwin and Iona and his best friend and brother David Ladwig.

He will truly be missed.
