Obituary

Alonzo B. Dvorak, age 60, of Wausau, WI, passed away in a motorcycle accident on the evening of August 8, 2024, outside Milladore, WI.

Alonzo was born January 12, 1964, the son of Donald D Dvorak and Hattie P Hobbs in Berwyn, IL. He graduated from Morton East High School in 1982 and went on to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology. On August 24, 1996, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Monica Moses. Alonzo and Monica have 2 beautiful, intelligent, caring and charming children, Joshua and Anjali.

During fair weather, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and driving his convertible. In his spare time, he loved watching classic movies and Korean feel-good series on Netflix. Those that knew Alonzo best will miss him for his sense of humor and his sharp intellect.

Alonzo is lovingly survived by his wife, Monica; children: Alex, Joshua, and Anjali; and siblings: Angelo, Cindy, and Emma Lou.

Alonzo is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Hattie (Pat).

A service honoring Alonzo's life is planned for Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at First Wausau UMC, 903 3rd St, Wausau, WI 54403: Visitation 10-11am, Service @ 11 followed by lunch.
