Amy Sue Garbisch

Amy Sue Garbisch, age 59, of Auburndale, WI passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 22, 2023. A memorial visitation will be held Monday March 6th, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, WI 54449. There will also be a celebration of life for Amy this summer; details will be posted at a later date.

Amy was born February 10, 1964, daughter of Marvin A. Lambert and Constance Mae (Jorgensen) Lambert in the city of Neenah, Wisconsin. On May 17th, 2019 Amy was united in marriage to the love of her life John Garbisch in Marshfield, WI. She spent her life rescuing and working in the service of animals, all shapes and sizes; dogs, cats, farm animals, and even people. She touched so many lives, too many to count, and worked hard for all of them. Her heart was one of the biggest, her selflessness unmatched, and her stubbornness too strong to measure.

Amy is lovingly survived by her husband John Garbisch; daughters Audrey Zoromski of Rhinelander, WI; Susan (Zoromski) Zettler (Travis) of Athens, WI; Heidi Lepak of Athens, WI; stepchildren Joni Garbisch (Wausau,WI); Whitknee (Moyer) Weber (Derek) of Arpin,WI; Amanda (Moyer) McGillan of Lynn, MA; Allen Garbisch (Leah) of Mauston, WI; Alex Garbisch of Grand Rapids, MI; 10 beloved grandchildren; many nieces and nephews,sister Elisabeth (Betsy Lambert) Buchman, (William) of Anacortes, WA; sister Julie (Lambert) Ryan (Timothy) of Tucson AZ; and father and mother in-laws, Milton and Nancy Garbisch of Graton, WI.

Amy is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Constance Lambert, brother Michael Lambert, son Andrew Zoromski, and late husband Richard Lepak.
