Anthony Peplinski, age 27, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Spencer, Wisconsin. Born on February 11, 1997, Anthony graduated from Loyal High School in Loyal, Wisconsin. Throughout his life, Anthony was deeply committed to working with disabled and special needs people, that showcased his compassion and dedication to helping others.
Anthony was a member of his Baptist Church growing up where he found a strong community of faith that supported his spiritual journey. He was an avid hiker, he often explored the natural landscapes, finding peace and solace in the great outdoors. He also enjoyed taking his dogs, Zoey and Wallace, everywhere with him and coming home to snuggle with all of his cats, Mabel, Edith, Tallulah, and Holly.
He is survived by his wife, Addison Rae Peplinski; his parents, Chad and Jeanne Peplinski; his brothers, Alex and Austin Peplinski; and his grandparents, John and Diane Schmidt, and Gerald and Karen Peplinski; aunt, Christine Mathe; uncle, Jerry (aunt, Jennifer – deceased) Peplinski; uncle Fred, and aunt, Heather Bueltemann; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Toni Scheel; sister-in-law, Arie (Tanner) Haffenbredl; nephew, Robert Haffenbredl; sister-in-law, Renea Ellis – Scheel (Kale Schneider); brother-in-law, Riley Ellis – Scheel; cousin, Mark Peplinski; cousin, Kaitlin Friesland (who was very close to Anthony growing up); and cousins, Felicity, Marsadez, Michah, and Max Bueltemann. Great family friends, Bruce and Sharlene Prust and family, Tyler and Kaelyn Prust, Aaron and Margaret Froelich, Taylor Hauge. Anthony was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Ziechert; step-grandfather, Duane Ziechert; and is reunited with his beloved Hattie cat.
Anthony's life will be celebrated by his family, friends, and those he touched through his work and community. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love for the outdoors will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Pkwy. in Marshfield). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
