Obituary

Arla Mae Dorothy Weister, 85, Marshfield, died on January 3rd, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Health Care Center in Marshfield. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Arla was born November 24, 1935, in Town of Eau Pleine, to Theodore and Mildred (Britten) Hintz.  She married Richard J Weister on September 21, 1957, in Marshfield.

She was born in a house built by her father and his brother, Herman. During high school, she worked in the office at Connor Lumber Company. After graduation, she worked in the office at Roddis Lumber Company.

Arla sang in the choir and then played organ at Trinity Lutheran Church which became Faith Lutheran Church of which she was a charter member. There she served on many committees, on church council, was active with the church women and taught Sunday school.

She loved being a stay-at-home mother caring for her children and doing the office work for Dick Weister Construction. When her husband retired, they enjoyed spending time in Arizona, for weeks, during the winter. She has now moved on to her heavenly home meeting up with loved ones that have gone before her.

She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Heidi, Kyle, Clayton, Tabitha, Sarah and Charles; and 5 great-grandchildren, Alexander, Ava, Lorelei, Ryker and Dax.  She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Tyrolt of Hayward, WI.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents; brother, Ralph and Virgil Tyrolt.
