Benjamin W. Smith

Benjamin William Smith, age 18, of Marshfield, passed away Monday, November 21st, 2022.  An open house visitation will be held starting at 3pm, Friday, November 25th, 2022, at his home in Marshfield.

Benjamin was born May 8th, 2004, the son of Steven Smith and Stephanie Smith (Olson) in Sheboygan, WI.  He graduated from Marshfield High School in 2022.

In Ben’s spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, gaming and spending time with his friends and family.  He especially enjoyed listening to stories of adventure and sharing his experiences.  Ben lived life to the fullest, always making sure that his friends and family were welcome to join in on the experiences and make memories together.

Ben was lovingly survived by his parents: Steven and Stephanie; his siblings: Mika, Austin, Kristin, Christopher; and a countless amount of amazing friends and family.

If you met Ben, you were immediately his friend.  His heart was open to everyone and everything from humans to animals, to the tallest trees and the smallest minnows (except the one he ate when he was 13 because he saw it on TV - thanks Bear Grylls!).  In lieu of flowers, please open your heart and pass a good deed forward.  Ben was always adamant that the smallest gesture could make the biggest difference in someone's life.  Help your neighbors and keep Ben in your memory.
