Betty Jane Wilhelm

Betty Jane Wilhelm passed away on February 19, 2023. Betty was born on July 8, 1954, in Ashland, Wisconsin, to the late Frank and Marian Wilhelm.

She was a graduate of Ashland High School and worked for Wal-Mart for more than 30 years; and lived most of her life in Ashland where she cared for her parents for many years. More recently, she had moved to Marshfield to be closer to family. Family was important to Betty, and she never forgot a birthday or missed an important milestone, always sending a card if she couldn't celebrate in person.

Betty will be remembered for her wicked sense of humor, boisterous laugh, cooking skills, fondness of games, and her love and devotion to her family and friends. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and her companionship and wisdom will be sorely missed.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by a brother, Frank (Butch) Wilhelm; brother-in-law, Logan Collins; and niece, Terri Ketelsen. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Gorski (Al) of Belvidere, Illinois; a sister, Linda Collins of Heber Springs, Arkansas; nephews, Peter Gorski (Brenda), Paul Gorski (Kami), Mathew Gorski (Jessica), Frank Wilhelm (Sue); nieces, Tricia Heberer (Mike), Lesley Ardemagni (Jeff), and April Leslie; along with many great-nieces and nephews; as well as her longtime friend, Melody LaDuke of Mason, Wisconsin.
