Bonnajean Williams

Bonnajean Williams, age 95, of Marshfield, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020, at Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff, WI under the care of Ascension at Home Hospice.

Her Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Parkway) Marshfield. A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service at the Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will take place at a later time at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Marshfield. Due to health concerns, the family asks that you please plan to wear a mask when coming for the visitation and or service, if you don't have a mask one will be available at the funeral home, thank you for your consideration of others.

Bonnajean was born on March 17, 1925, the daughter of Elroy and Margaret (Cruthers) Fink in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Granton High School and studied business at the University of Wisconsin Marshfield Extension. She was united in marriage to Rodney Williams on November 7, 1943, at St. Mathews Lutheran Church in Marshfield, they later divorced. She worked at Marshfield Clinic for over 30 years as a supervisor in the business office. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Bonnajean was an avid reader and news buff, she liked to crochet, sew and tend to her flower gardens. She truly enjoyed her work at the Marshfield Clinic and delighted spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her five children: Ruthann Williams, Dianne Briggs, Lyle (Rita) Williams, Janet Haynes and Connie Williams; four siblings: Margaret Boyd, Florence Mellen, Carroll Fink and Glen (Mary Ann) Fink; six grandchildren: Michael Jepsen, Mark (Nikki) Jepsen, Jennifer (David) Spriggs, Dustin Williams, Megan (Orin) LaGree, Ian Williams-Lohr and Celia Lohr and six great-grandchildren: Maizy Jepsen, Sarah and Tyler Spriggs, Clayton, Jacob, Makena LaGree and baby LaGree coming in August.

Bonnajean was preceded in death by her parents Elroy and Margaret and siblings Merlin, James, Frances and Robert Fink; her sisters-in-law: Fern Fink, Betty Fink and Shirley Fink and brothers-in-law: Lester Mellen and Al Boyd.
