Carol Neumann Obituary

Carol Neumann, 55, of Marshfield, passed away as the result of her liver disease on April 13, 2024, at the Marshfield Medical Center. The family will be having a private celebration of life.

Carol was born on May 13, 1968, in Neillsville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Kelly L. and Cecelia (Manthe) Decorah. She was a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation.

She was married to Tim Neumann, but they separated; and she found the love of her life, Tom Breu – always talking about how she loved him so much. They were together for seven years, and had a dog named Emma (her pride and joy).

Carol always had a sense of humor and a smile on her face; she always did the best she could for people, being a good listener when you needed help with anything. Her daughter, Melissa, was close to her mom. When she needed something and help, she would call her daughter, and she would do it for her. Carol always liked seeing her grandchildren and spending time with them. She loved to cook, and the flowers that people would get for her. She would go on facebook to get recipes to try. Carol liked the warm weather to sit outside in the sun; and walked Emma to her favorite bar, the Neighborhood Bar. Melissa’s favorite memory is going to visit Carol and talk to her, and she would always want to hold Tucker (one of her grandsons).

She will be truly missed. Carol had five children: Johnathon, Nicole, Melissa, Andrew, and Jordan. She was proud of her kids. Her brothers and sisters are: Kelvin (Carmen) Decorah of Neillsville, Connie (Scott) Lokken of Marshfield, Catherine (Eric Bergstrom) Bolssen of Marshfield, Kristopher (Jennifer) Decorah of Granton, and Keith (Erin) Decorah of Neillsville.

Carol is preceded in death by both of her parents, Kelly Decorah and Cecelia Manthe; grandmother, Hazel; and brother, Kelly “Bucky” Decorah.

Rest in Peace, Mom, see you again – I love you.
