Carol "Ann" Leonhardt age 82, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, December 26, 2024 at Our House Senior Living Memory Care in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. A Prayer Service was held on Saturday for immediate family members and was officated by Deacon Ray Draeger. A Celebration Of Life will be held during her birthday month in April of 2025. Her wishes were to be cremated and, thus, no burial service will be held.
Carol was born April 24, 1942, and was the daughter of Albert and Irene Riehle. Carol was a selfless, loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends. Carol made it her life’s mission to help each and every person she met and to make them feel loved. She was an ice cream connoisseur, flower enthusiast, and bingo queen. Carol is survived by her daughters, Michelle and Melissa (Joe) Schinke, her granddaughter, Kamryn, and her grand dog, Jaxon, and former spouse Jim. She is further survived by her siblings, Betty (Alvin) Bornbach, and James (Lois) Riehle. She was predeceased in death by her parents and siblings, Arnie Riehle, Mary Beining, Gert McColloch, Dorothy Guldan, Marvin Riehle, Jean Riehle, and Pete Riehle. She was loved by all and will truly be missed.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the wonderful and caring staff at Our House Senior Living Memory Care, Carol's caregiver companion, Kris Somers, St. Croix Hospice, Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home and Deacon Ray Draeger for his support and wonderful prayer service, and all who have cared for her during her journey with Alzheimer's.
