Carolyn Mary (Eisner) Landing

Carolyn M. Landing, age 86, passed away early Sunday morning on February 21,2021 unexpectedly but peacefully at Asters Senior Retirement Community in Marshfield, WI. 

Memorial services for Carolyn and her late husband William will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway in Marshfield on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Ray Draeger officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday followed by a luncheon.

Carolyn was born April 23rd, 1934, the daughter of Frank and Olga (Derge) Eisner in Marshfield, WI. She did enter the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Milwaukee, WI. and attended college. After graduating college Carolyn went on to teach at Mount Mary College and later chose to leave the sisterhood. Just before leaving Mount Mary's college she met the love of her life. She was married to William Landing on August 8, 1987 in Milwaukee, WI.

After their marriage they chose to move to Appleton, WI. and entered retirement. Carolyn proceeded to work at Kohls part time before fully retiring.  In her spare time, she enjoyed working in the garden, crocheting, and especially sewing. Those that knew Carolyn best will miss her loving personality, warm smile, and her spunkiness.  She was a very loving sister, wife, and aunt. She especially enjoyed her visits with her great, great nephew Liam and the bond that she shared with her happy (Cindy).

Carolyn is lovingly survived by her brother Jim Eisner and sister and brother-in-law Marlene and Donald Hoffman all of Marshfield, WI. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and through a special friend and neighbor Dennis Johnson. She was truly a wonderful, caring lady and will be missed dearly.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Olga (Derge) Eisner as well as her sister Rita Ann Eisner and her husband William Landing.
