Charles Dean Zettl

CHARLES DEAN ZETTL - On Sunday, January 3, 2021, Charles Dean Zettl passed away at age 74. Charles was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 11, 1946.  He moved to San Diego, CA in 1988.

Charles was known for his quick wit, infectious smile and laugh, and enthusiasm for enjoying life. He was an avid fan of all sports, car racing, and his favorite hobby was collecting classic model cars.  He spent most of his professional career as a real estate broker with an Associate degree from Marquette University – Milwaukee.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, John W. Zettl, his mother Lenora A. Zettl (Schweke), and his sister Sandra Jean. He is survived by his two daughters, Tara Zettl-Groulx and Brittany Melton, his brother Joel, his wife-separated Marianne (Douard), and several Cousins.

A small service and blessing will be held at the Spencer West Cemetery in Spencer, WI on January 15, 2021 at 2pm CST.  A celebration of his life will be held in San Diego, CA at a future date TBD.
