Charlotte E. Jackson, age 92, of Spencer, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, Sep. 21, 2025, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 30, 2025, at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Andrew Belt will officiate. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
Charlotte was born on Sep. 11, 1933, in the Marathon County town of Green Valley, to the late Fred and Elizabeth (Oertel) Jacoby. On June 24, 1953, she was married to Lee Jackson in Crown Point, Indiana. Lee passed away on Aug. 11, 2006. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer, and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, decorating wedding/confirmation cakes, crocheting/knitting, bible study, and she loved to share laughs and could tell a good joke or two.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Amy (Dale) Jacobitz; granddaughter, Anna Jackson; sister, Arlene Gehrke; and brother, Bob Kellner.
In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her sons, Neil and Randall Jackson; siblings: Harold (Lorraine) Jacoby, Joyce (Pete) Baxter, Orin Gehrke, James (Mary) Jacoby, Nancy Kellner and George Kellner.
