Obituary

Cody Daniel Sajdik, age 24, of Marshfield, passed away unexpectedly Friday night, March 3rd, 2023, at his residence in Marshfield. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, March 14th, 2023, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 East Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield. Visitation will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023.

Cody was born January 15th, 1999, the son of Gerald Jr. and Jessica Granger (Barton) in Kenosha, WI. He graduated from Auburndale High School in Auburndale in 2017.

He recently joined the Electrical Workers Union and was employed as an Apprentice.

Cody loved spending time with family, especially his one-year-old son, Greyson, whom he loved more than words could ever explain. He was an amazing and very proud father. In his spare time, he spent many hours working in the garage, on anything and everything, with his stepdad, Michael Schultz. He loved picking on his sisters, Savannah and Isabelle Sajdik. He lived to give his mother a hard time, all in fun. He also loved spending time with his best friend, Zade. Cody loved to make people laugh and smile. He had a heart of gold and would go to the end of the earth for those he loved. He had a truly beautiful soul and will be missed by so many. The earth darkened the day he left this earth. Life will never be the same. Cody’s kindness, smile, and truly pure heart will be missed by many. Cody left us way too soon! His legacy will be carried on by son, Greyson.

Cody is loving survived by his son: Greyson Sajdik; mother: Jessica Schultz (Barton); stepdad: Michael Schultz; sisters: Savannah Sajdik and Isabelle Sajdik; niece: Sophia Anderson. He is further survived by his grandparents: James Barton, Susan and Gerald Granger; aunts: Hannah Mooney (Barton), Hillarie Granger, Kimberly Granger; uncle: James Barton II.

He is preceded in death by his father: Gerald Granger Jr.; grandmother: Jodi Barton.

Our hearts are broken by this angel taken way too soon. I am grateful that you are no longer in pain and get to finally meet your dad. A piece of me will forever be missing. I will forever love and miss you (mom).
