Darcie Lee Brandl-Stauber

Darcie Lee Brandl-Stauber, age 57, of Marshfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. Darcie was born on February 17th, 1966, to Guy and Janice (Koppen) Brandl in Marshfield, WI. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1984. On February 17th, 1990, Darcie was united in marriage to Bruce Stauber at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield.

Darcie worked for 24 years at her parents’ business, I. Brandl, Inc., as an administrative assistant and also helped care for the gardens. Prior to that, she was an established beautician in Marshfield and Neenah. Most recently, she worked at Opportunity Development Centers. She loved helping others and spreading kindness in everything she did.

Darcie enjoyed spending her time relaxing at her cottage, creating beautiful spaces, gardening, being with loved ones, caring for her grandpets, and taking part in family gatherings and celebrations – especially with the Brandl girls. Those who knew Darcie best will miss her smile, humor, and generosity.

Darcie is survived by her husband, Bruce Stauber; children, Calvin Stauber and Kendall (Cody) Shaw; sister, Cammie Brandl; and parents, Guy and Janice (Koppen) Brandl. She is further survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Darcie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ignatius and Helene (Lenz) Brandl, Margaret (Hahm) Dumas, Harry Koppen, Dale Driscoll, and Edward Dumas; parents-in-law, Roman and Virginia (Kraus) Stauber, and other loved ones.

A celebration of Darcie's life will be held on Thursday, September 7th, 2023, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 East Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by the service at 10:30 AM. She will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.
