David was born June 2, 1953 to Robert and Elaine Bauer in Loyal, Wi. He graduated from Loyal High School in 1971. David served in the Army National Guard. He married Irene Schreiner in 1975 and they had 3 children. They were later divorced. In 1982 David married Susan Genett bringing 2 children to the family. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, processing meat, traveling WI, and spending time with family. He enjoyed passing on his vast knowledge to his children and grandchildren.
