David Bruce Ladwig

On Saturday, April 8th, 2023, David B. Ladwig passed away at the age of 65, at St. Joseph's Hospital. David was born on March 22, 1958 in Marshfield, WI to Edwin and Iona (Otto) Ladwig.
He worked on the family farm for many years while in High School. He graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1976.  He also was a graduate of Mid State Technical College from the Building Trade Program.
He was employed by Trierweiler Construction for many years. He enjoyed fishing and had built several homes during that time as well. He had a passion for building and creating things out of wood.

David and his former wife Julie (Hamus) Ladwig were married in 1981 and raised 3 children; Matthew (Ashley) Ladwig, Ryan (Erica) Ladwig, and Kayla Ladwig.  He was a proud Grandfather of 
7; Bentley, Aubrynne, Bennett, Aspen, Aurora, Parker and Greyson. David was preceded in death by his father, Edwin, and his mother, Iona.  He is survived by his former wife, his 3 Children and his 
7 Grandchildren as well as 2 brothers, 4 sisters as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.  
 
A private funeral service will be held on Friday April 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with Pastor Andrew Belt officiating. 
A public visitation will be held on Friday, April 21st from 10:00 a.m until the time of service at the church.
