Dawn M. Duchow

Dawn M. Smith-McGregor-Duchow, age 76 of Marshfield, WI, passed away October 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Dawn was born on January 29, 1948, the daughter of James M. Smith and Audrey M. Reckner-Smith in Stevens Point, WI.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on June 2, 1966. On August 4, 2018, Dawn M. Duchow was united in marriage to her loving husband Roger A. Duchow at the Elk’s Club in Wisconsin Rapids.

In her spare time, Dawn enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, and was an avid collector. She especially loved her cat, Jazzy. Those that knew Dawn best will miss her smile, her ease of conversation, and her outgoing personality. Dawn is lovingly survived by her husband: Roger A. Duchow; children: James W. McGregor (Sher); grandchildren: Sean and August; children: Jennifer M. McGregor (Larry); step-children: Bryant Duchow (Amanda), Garret Duchow (Robbyn), grandchild: Cameron, Evan Duchow (Heidi); grandchildren: Clarence and Malcolm.

Dawn is preceded in death by her parents, James M. Smith and Audrey M. Reckner-Smith.
