Dawn Ziegahn

Dawn J. Ziegahn, 92, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021, at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Dawn was born on Jan. 26, 1929, the daughter of Charles Stephens and Faleda (Gilberts) Stephens, and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Ziegahn, who preceded her in death. For the majority of her marriage, she and her husband were residents of Auburndale, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Auburndale VFW and was very active in planning and promoting many fundraisers for the VFW.

After the loss of her husband, she enjoyed travels with her sister. While living in Marshfield, she volunteered for the Senior Craft Shoppe as bookkeeper, and she and her sister spent many hours making crafts for the center. Dawn and her sister also became involved with volunteering at Cedar Rail and working with local Government.

Dawn was employed for many years as an accountant for Rolllohome which later became Wisconsin Homes.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Darnell) Ziegahn & Mark (Vicki) Ziegahn; her grandchildren, Ryan Ziegahn (Carmen), Amy Ruston (Brent), Lindsey Ziegahn and Kimberly Ziegahn; as well as her great-grandchildren, Jamison, Cassidy, Tristan, Kendall, Isabella, Ella and Bryce.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Faleda Stephens; her husband, Robert L Ziegahn; sister, Shirley (Stephens) Gustafson; and great-granddaughters, Taylor and Cameron.

We know she is enjoying her reunion with her heavenly father and her family.
