Dennis Wayne Mueller

Dennis Wayne Mueller, age 76, passed away Sunday morning, November 6th, 2022, at Wells Nature View in Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. On Friday November 11th, 2022 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.

Dennis was born September 17th, 1946, the son of Lawrence and Charlotte Mueller (Tatroe) in Fifield. He grew up just north of Fenwood on the family farm. He was a graduate of Edgar High School class of 1964. On December 15th, 1968, he married Sharon Ann Frey.  Dennis and Sharon had three children, he is lovingly survived by their children, Lisa (fiancé Jonny Hagelin) Freund, Todd Mueller, and Denise (Robert) Hamm. Grandchildren: Michael (Fiancé Brianna Breu) Freund, Josh and Mariah Freund, Tyler Mueller, Brock Hamm, Emily (Wyatt) Stripling and Laynie Hamm. Great grandchildren include: Max, Clara and Millie Freund.

Dennis was employed at Rollohome Corp. as a cabinetmaker. Dennis had served in the Army as a Missile Specialist. He returned home and continued to work for Rollohome. He later took a cabinetmaker position with Wick Building Systems in Marshfield.

Dennis was known as the guy who built bedroom furniture on Peach, near the Marshfield mall. He mainly built dressers, but he also built custom cabinets; you might even have something he built in your home. He loved to build cabinets it was his hobby and his occupation. In his spare time, he enjoyed his family, woodworking, western tv shows, and gardening. Those that knew Dennis best will miss his smile, and his love of woodworking.

Dennis remarried on 10/28/2006 to Suzanne Hendrickson, they divorced 2018.

Dennis is the oldest of 10 siblings: Survivors include his sisters: Karen Sigmund, Fenwood, Prudy (Rod Nowack) Lang, Rib Mountain, Linda (James) Lang, Rib Mountain and Debra Adamski, Marathon; brothers: Patrick (Donna) Mueller, Mosinee, Michael Mueller, Edgar, Lyle Mueller, Edgar and Timothy (Aurora) Mueller, Fenwood; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence and Charlotte; brothers: Clyde and Rodney Mueller; wife: Sharon Mueller (Frey); sisters-in-law: Karen Drescher (Frey) and Joanne Frey; as well as his brothers-in-law: Michael Carrington, Donald Adamski, and Donald Sigmund. He is further proceeded by parents–in-law: Roland and Mary Frey.
