Dianne Gordee, age 70, of Hewitt, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 4, 2021, at the House of the Dove after a short battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7735 Yellowstone Dr., Hewitt, WI. Rev. Dean Pingel will officiate. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, on Sunday, May 9, 2021, from 4:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to service at the church. The honor of pallbearers belongs to: Jennifer Beck, Matthew Beck, Laura Lokken, Eric Gordee, Nathan Spindler and Darin Spindler. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Allison and Abbie Heiman.
Dianne was born October 18, 1950, the daughter of Oscar (Dorothy) Frankwick in Marshfield. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1968. She was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Gordee on May 24, 1971, in Hawaii. They were blessed with a beautiful daughter Ashley. Dianne worked as a medical assistant at the Marshfield Clinic for most of career. Dianne enjoyed sewing, quilting, boating and time with friends. Spending time with her granddaughters who were her pride and joy was what she treasured the most.
Dianne is survived by her daughter, Ashley Heiman; granddaughters, Allison and Abbie Heiman; long-time significant other and friend, Duke Schueller and his family, Debra (Jon) Trudeau, Michael (Jennifer) Scheuller, Jeffery (Cathy) Schueller, and Sara Schueller.
She is further survived by her sisters and brothers, Donna (Mark) Malinowski, Candy Johnson, Cheri (Keith) Cauwenbergh, Janine Pauda, Gary Frankwick, Mike (Mary) Gordee, Dick (Lou) Gordee, Jim (Anita) Gordee, Harry (Karen) Gordee, Kathy (David) Bliven, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Gordee; parents, Oscar and Dorothy Frankwick; brother, Ron Frankwick; mother-and-father in-law, Calvin and Armella Gordee; and son-in-law, Adam Heiman.
