Donald G Hoffman

Donald G Hoffman, 84, of Marshfield, passed away Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. A Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 28th, 2022_ at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until time of service. 

DONALD was born December 13th 1937, the son of Ignatius and Adeline (Peck) Hoffman in Marshfield. He attended Marshfield High School and Columbus Catholic High School.   On July 19th 1958 Donald was united in marriage to the love of his life Marlene Eisner at St. JOHN’S Catholic Church in Marshfield. They resided together in Marshfield for 62 1/2 years. Donald retired from Weyerhaeuser in 2000 after 45 yrs.

In his spare time, he enjoyed coaching little league baseball, bowling, and watching sports. He had a love for animals especially all his puppies. Donald enjoyed spending time with family the most. Those that knew him will miss his feisty personality and kind heart. He will truly be missed by all those that loved him.

Donald is lovingly survived by his wife: Marlene; children: Michael (Roxie) Hoffman of Schofield, Daniel (Juli) Hoffman of Dekalb, IL. Rick (Laura)Hoffman of Marshfield, Bill (Carol) Hoffman of Marshfield, Sue (Dennis) Kuse of Marshfield, Cindy (Dale) Langjahr of Marshfield, Lisa Gates of Marshfield, Sara (Eric) Meyer of Arpin. He is further survived by 22 grandchildren Gina, Tina, Shawna, Josh, Nikki, Jessica, Justin, Jason, Tony, Amy, Amanda, Kevin, Janelle, Ashley, Jennifer, Kyle, Andrea, Adam, Tyler, Logan, Brad, Zak and 28 great-grandchildren.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents: Ignatius and Adeline Hoffman; In-Laws Frank and Olga Eisner; as well as siblings: Deloras, Elmer, Lorraine (Walley) Hilts, and Walter (Harriet) Hoffman; extended family; Sister Rita Ann, Carolyn (Bill) Landing; Granddaughter Caitlyn Hoffman.
