Donna Bluhm Obituary

Donna Mae Bluhm, 89 years "YOUNG", passed away the morning of Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, at Wells Nature View, Marshfield WI. She was born to Benjamin and Gertrude (Skibbe) Foltz on May 12th, 1936, in Riplinger, WI. She was an active participant on her highschool debate team often receiving AAs at the league Forensics competitions. She graduated from McKinley High School (Marshfield Senior High School) in 1954. Donna was united in marriage to Herbert E. Bluhm August 1st,1960, in Pine City, MN. They settled in Marshfield, WI, where she did clerical work for Hardware Mutual Insurance Company, Roddis and Figis. Later, she became a housewife and raised seven children. She enjoyed dancing, embroidery, handiwork, babysitting, baking and dining out. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on the Ladies Guild. Donna thoroughly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Any amount of time spent with them was cherished.

Donna is survived by her sister, Marjorie Covi; and sister-in-law, Burga Foltz. Her children: Randall Joseph (Julie Johnson) Bluhm, Mark Allen Bluhm, Dean Russell (Wanda Konz) Bluhm, Brenda Kay (Irv) Neumann, Perry Lee (Ann Paradis) Bluhm, Robbie Jay (Courtney Owen) Bluhm. 21 grandchildren: Benjamin (Katie) Bluhm, Jacqueline (Ian Trudeau) Bluhm Tara (DJ) Wendell, Barbie (Tyler) Griepentrog, Kaylle (Jason) Widmann, Amanda (Sam) Reseburg, Jena (Bobby) Tran, Justin (Raine) Cramm, Brandon Cramm, Adam (Stephanie) Bluhm, Jacob Bluhm, Lucas Bluhm, Aubrea (Bryce) Southard, Ryan Neumann, Cydney Bluhm, Cameron Bluhm, Brad Neumann, Noah (Kallie) Bluhm, Olivia Bluhm, Landon Bluhm and Levi Bluhm. 25 great-grandchildren: Beatrix, Jack, Crosby, Reese, Lauren, Ava, Charlotte, Blake, Jaxson, Zander, Adelyn, Rex, Briggs, Austin, Porter, Deya, Esker, Ettie, Foster, Charlie, Olive, Mia, Clayton, Warren and Ryker; and numerous cousins; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Benjamin and Robert Foltz; husband, Herbert E. Bluhm; son, Erick Michael Bluhm; granddaughter, Quinn Allyn Bluhm; and first husband, Joseph L. Hoffman.

Donna's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Wells Nature View (her "second family") and Heartland Hospice for the exceptional care they provided.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 am at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield, WI, with a visitation starting at 9:00 am. Interment immediately following service at Brooklawn Memory Gardens, Town of Richfield. Chaplain Dennis Fahey officiating.

Donna Mae touched so many lives...she was a remarkable lady.
