Edward Anton Nelles

Edward Anton Nelles age 89, of Marshfield, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at home in Marshfield. A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Clubhouse in Marshfield on July 17, 2021 between 1:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon.

Edward was born October 12, 1931, the son of Felix and Esther (Michels) Nelles in Marshfield. He graduated in 1949. On November 7, 1951 Edward was united in marriage to the love of his life Dora at Sacred Heart in Marshfield.  

In his spare time he enjoyed spending time in his garden, working on his yard, and tinkering in his garage. Edward will be remembered for his willingness to help others, and his wide variety of skills.

Edward is survived by his loving children; Tony Nelles, Bill Nelles (Debbie), Mary Nelson, Ann (Greg Hagensick), and Matt Nelles (Jennifer); dear grandchildren, Melanie, Nicole, Michael, Adam, Allison, Katherine, Bradley, Elizabeth, Kasey, and Grace; and his sister June Ringstadt. He is further survived by many loving friends and family.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents: Felix and Esther; as well as his siblings, Duane, Harold, Ethel, and Jerry; and his wife, Dora.
