Elaine Elsie (Berkholtz) Rosplock

Elaine E. Rosplock, age 85 of Vesper, WI, died peacefully on Saturday, September 26th, 2020 at Marshfield Health Services Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Elaine will be at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield on Friday, October 2, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Mark Krueger officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Arpin Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rich Nieman, John Brugh, Mike Cournoyer, Kris Pilger, Dustin Thomas, Macalen Rosplock, and Kyle Rosplock. A celebration of life/luncheon will follow at Dupe's Bar and Grill in Arpin, WI.  

Elaine was born on June 4, 1935 to Edward and Alma (Meitner) Berkholtz. She graduated from Auburndale School. She married Edron Marceau which later ended in a divorce. On October 13, 1956, Elaine married the love of her life, George Rosplock until his death in 2001.

Elaine was mostly a stay at home mom, but occasionally liked to take on seasonal work at the cranberry marshes. She loved to cook, can, bake, and garden in her spare time. She also enjoyed family gatherings at her home.

She is survived by her Children: Kathy(Jim) Nieman, Arpin; Sandy Hall, Pittsville; George Rosplock, Wis Rapids; Cheryl Otto, Mather; Judy(David) Cournoyer, Marshfield; Rick(Holly) Rosplock, Nancy Thomas, Arpin; Ron Rosplock, Greg(Paula) Rosplock, Nekoosa; Amy Kehrberg, WI Rapids, One sister, Edna Omernik, Stevens Point; one sister-in-law, Viola Berkholtz, WI Rapids; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alma Berkholtz; Husband, George Rosplock, Sr.; Infant daughter, Lori; Special friend, Don Mould; Brothers, Donald and Lawrence Berkholtz, Brother in law, Joseph Omernik; Son in laws, Roger Otto and Jake Thomas; Daughter in law, Pam Rosplock, an infant grandson, Zebadiah Rosplock; and a granddaughter in law, Jennifer Cournoyer.
