Erik E. Young

Erik Everett Young, age 29, of Marshfield, left our World, June 1st, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 14th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at North Wood County Park  (Richfield Wood Rd. or Park Lane) in Pittsville/Arpin.

Erik was born Tuesday, February 14, 1995, the son of Allen and Angela Young (Dupee) in Marshfield, WI. He and the love of his life, Desii Terry, became Partners on July 19, 2014. This love created two beautiful children, Elliot and Xavier.

He enjoyed long motorcycle rides with no destination, playing disc golf, tinkering in the garage, anything involving mud, grilling out, and most importantly, making people laugh. Erik had many creative outlets such as concrete, picking locks, re-building things, and even creating floral arrangements helping out at the family flower shop. Erik was a hard working, soft-hearted, intelligent, and goofy guy. As he would say, he was the nicest asshole you’d ever meet.  

Erik is lovingly survived by his parents: Al & Angie Young; partner: Desii Terry; children: Elliot and Xavier; sister: Maggie (Justin) De La Luz, their children: Bryce and Liam; grandmother: Mary Young; great grandmother: June Reshel; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will be more than missed by those that loved him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Richard and Susan Dupee Sr, and Margaret Dupee, Richard Young Jr; great grandpartents: Everett and Doris Dupee, Richard and Sarah Young Sr, Lawrence Reshel; Arthur and Mary Michlig, uncle: Richard Dupee Jr; and cousin: Taylor Dupee.
