Ervin J. Kress

Ervin J. Kress, age 90 of Stratford, passed away early Wednesday March, 19, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM March 29, 2025 at St. Andrew Catholic Church (122726 County Rd C) in Rozellville. Visitation will be held at Location from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the Church on Saturday.   Burial will take place at St Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Rozellville. Stratford Memorial VFW Post 6352 will conduct military honors following the funeral service.

Ervin was born, the son of John and Mary (Marty) Kress. After attending High School Ervin proudly served his country in the US Army. Ervin was a hard worker and worked many jobs including: Cheese Maker, Baker and owner/operator of Green Houses. He was a member of St Andrews Catholic Church. In his spare time he enjoyed Gardening, and Cake Baking.

Ervin is lovingly survived by many Nieces and Nephews. He is further survived by Many Great Nieces and Nephews. He will truly be missed.

Ervin is preceded in death by his parents; as well as siblings: Ernest and John; and two nephews.

The family would like to thank the Seventh Floor Staff for all the care afforded to Ervin. They would like to also thank Father Sengole Vethanayagam for the time spent and blessings given.  As well as especially thank Chuck Wenzel for all that he did, including making it possible for Ervin to attend Saturday Evening Mass every week.
