Gary W. Oswald

Gary Warren Oswald, age 83, of Marshfield, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly, Friday, March 28, 2025.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield. visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church.

Gary was born on March 19, 1942, near Greenwood, Wisconsin. After graduating from Greenwood High School, he received a degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.

In 1961 he met Jeanette Ann Noeldner, they were married in 1963, going on to have three children, Douglas Warren, Keith Robert, and Jennifer Ann. Gary was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was an avid reader, enjoyed watching sports, and many outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing and long walks with Jeanette.

After retiring in 2010 he and Jeanette spent their time travelling, and visiting with friends and family, especially his five grandchildren: Lauran, Nicholas, Benjamin, Noah and Evelyn.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Jeanette of Marshfield, Douglas (Wende) Oswald of Stevens Point, Marguerite Oswald, with son Nicholas and Noah all of Chicago, and Jennifer (Jeffrey) DuMez with their children: Lauren, Benjamin and Evelyn, all of Green Bay. Also, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son Keith, parents Lucille and Orville Oswald and Warren Oswald, and brother David.
