Obituary
Gerald Leo Jensen, age 85, of Marshfield, died on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. He was born on October 14, 1936 in Arpin, WI to Gordon and Gladys (Steffen) Jensen. On July 20, 1957, he married Naomi Ruth Krings at St. John's Lutheran Church in Auburndale. He attended School in Marshfield and worked for the Boson Company for many years.
He is survived by two daughters: Jacki (Timothy) Krause of Marshfield, Kim (James) Wunrow of Arpin; his grandchildren: Seth (Gwen Lindquist) Berens, Tasha (Mikey) Jurena, Kallan (Stacy Guldan) Berens, Jordan Krause and Cassandra (Jared Radandt) Berens; and adopted grand daughter: Katie McGuire. Gerald is further survived by his great-grandchildren: John, Carlie, Arlo, Elijah, Noah, Owen, Garrett, and Ellie; sister: JoAnn (Terry) Stoflet of Arpin; a sisters-in-law: Diane Jensen, Judy Krings of Auburndale; brother-in-laws: Maldon Plank and Richard Moen of Marshfield; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents: Gordon and Gladys; his wife: Naomi; a grandson Jeremy Krause; siblings: Lois Smith, William, James, and Roger Jensen; as well as an adopted great granddaughter: Sierra McGuire
At Gerald’s request there will be no formal funeral service. Private family services will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Palliative Care and Oncology at Marshfield Medical Center for their excellent care.
