Glenn A. Ludwig, Jr.

Glenn Arthur Ludwig, Jr., 72, of Arpin, passed away early Aug. 26, 2023, at the Marshfield Medical Center ER in Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 2, 2023, at Bluff View Church in Arpin. Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.

Glenn was born June 5, 1951, the son of Glenn Ludwig and Evelyn (Plotz) Ludwig. He graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1969. On Feb. 13, 1971, Glenn was united in marriage to the love of his life, Renee, in Slinger, Wisconsin.

In Glenn’s spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature. Those who knew Glenn best will miss his joyful attitude and his smile, and Glenn’s love of the word of God.

Glenn is lovingly survived by his wife, Renee; daughters, Nydra Ludwig (husband, David Van Vleck) of Pittsville, Noel Ludwig of Mattoon; brothers, Brian (Candy) Ludwig and Leslie Ludwig both of Oregon. He is further survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Glenn will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Evelyn, and an infant baby boy.
