Irene L. Meyer

Irene Lynette Meyer of Marshfield passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the age of 74. Visitation will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A funeral will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will take place at Colby Memorial Cemetery in Colby.
Irene was born March 21, 1951, to Herman John Frahman and Sylvia Lucinda Frahman (Wallace) in Chippewa Falls. She attended Chippewa High School and later received her GED. She is preceded in death by parents Herman Frahman and Sylvia Frahman; husband Robert (Bob) F. Meyer; siblings Lester Clyde Frahman and John Herman Frahman. She is survived by siblings Bill, Lois, and Linda; son Todd Meyer (Amanda) and granddaughters Jorie and Hallie; son Trent Meyer (Katie) and granddaughter Lindsey; daughter Tina Nikolay (Ben) and granddaughter Ella.
Irene was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was strong in her faith and ready to be called home in God’s time. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, decorating her home for all the holidays throughout the year, and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved her fur babies Seth, Shiloh, and Lil’ Luke.
She will live on in our hearts and memories forever.
