Janalee Rose (Krahn) Vayda

Janalee Rose Vayda, age 76, of Marshfield, died on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Stoney River Assisted Living.

Funeral services for Janalee, will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour before the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.

Janalee was born on March 16, 1947, in Marshfield to Arthur and Florence (Frickenstein) Krahn. She was a graduate of Stratford High School and worked most of her adult life as a control coordinator with Associated Bank in Marshfield.

She married Steven Vayda in Stratford, on May 5, 1979.

Janalee enjoyed many crafts including needlework, macrame and loved gardening.

She is survived by two brothers, Ken (Lois) Krahn of Marshfield, Dennis (Janice) Krahn of Fort Myers, FL, five stepchildren, and five nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steven in 2019.

Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church in Marshfield.
