Janet was born on April 8, 1938, in Marshfield, to Robert and Mildred (Kautza) Manlick. She was married to the love of her life, Arthur Schill, on Jan. 26, 1957. They were married 67 glorious years.
She graduated from Marshfield Senior High. Following graduation, she attended an apprenticeship program in Green Bay. Soon after, she began working at Rodis (Weyerhaeuser) until her retirement 38 years later.
Janet was involved in St. Mary’s PCCW making pies for funerals and the Friday Night Fish Frys. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for each of the grandchildren as they were born. She looked forward to spending time with the grandkids and great-grandchildren, along with attending sporting and music events. She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and shaking dice with her family, friends, and neighbors.
Janet is survived by her children: Daniel Schill of Marshfield, Debra (Lee) Kempf of Arpin, Dawn (Tom) Fuehrer of Auburndale, Darla (Pat) Schuld of Chaseburg; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sibling, Karleen Darling of Hales Corners.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Schill; her parents, Robert and Mildred (Kautza) Manlick; brother, James Manlick; sisters, Mary (in infancy), Donna Manlick, and Barbara Werner; and grandson, Seth Fuehrer.
The family would like to thank the staff at Aster’s Assisted Living, St. Croix Hospice, and Apollo Senior Care for the care that Janet received.
