Joseph Reif

Joseph Andrew Reif, age 75, passed away early Monday, April 7, 2025, at House of Dove in Marshfield, Wisconsin. As per Joe's request, no visitation or service will be held. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.

Joe was born on October 1, 1949, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, to Joseph and Arlene (Gebelein), and graduated from Marshfield High School. On March 29, 1982, he was united in marriage to India E. Carter in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joe and India attended worship at Cornerstone Community Church. Joe really enjoyed being a greeter at church on Sundays.

In Joe's spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, having cookouts, NASCAR and dirt racing, gardening, and his love of animals.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, India; his daughters: Patty (DJ) Woodkey, Sandy (Cory) Rueth and Cari (Jim) Swensen; and his stepson, James Lanke. Joe is also survived by his pride and joy grandchildren: Hunter (Brittney) Swensen, Tanner Swensen, Paige (Mason White Eagle), Logan (Sydney Busche) Rueth, Dawson (Sammy Stanton) Rueth, and Joey Bauer. One great-granddaughter, Blakely Swensen; and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Arlene Reif; his brothers, Dennis and Charles (Chuck) Reif; and his stepdaughter, Lori Lanke.
