Joyce A. (Dee) Burg

Joyce A. (Dee) Burg, age 97, of Janesville, passed away early Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, at Evansville Manor in Evansville. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from one hour prior to service on Tuesday.

Joyce was born March 6 , 1929, the daughter of Joseph H. Murphy & Margaret Murphy. On November 5th, 1960, Joyce was united in marriage to Howard O. Burg at Community Bible Church in Stratford Wisconsin.

In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed reading and cooking. She especially enjoyed sewing. Those that knew Joyce best will miss her jokes, stories and her love of animals.

Joyce is lovingly survived by her 5 children: Darlene Protsman, Arlene Kohlbeck, Donald Dee, Cynthia Keating, and Karin Miller. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren: Erica, Megan, Melissa, Jeremy, Jessica, Stephanie, Sarah, Issace, Ian, Lauren, Tasha, and Shane; as well as siblings and 13 great grandchildren. She is further survived by JoAnn Weis. Joyce will truly be missed and always remembered.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents: Margert and Joseph; as well as siblings:

Robert Murphy, Janace Franz, Joseph Jr. Murphy, and Jerome Murphy.
