A cold and windy November day the Lord has wrapped his arms around Julie Ann Brandl on Sunday, November 29, 2020, and took her home.
Funeral services for Julie Ann will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 10571 George Avenue, Auburndale, on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Lundgren officiating. Burial will immediately follow in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in Milladore. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Julie Ann M Brandl was born on December 21, 1942 the daughter to George and Ester (Petri) Hamus in Auburndale. She attended Auburndale high school. On June 23, 1979 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Lavern Brandl at St. John’s Lutheran church in Auburndale.
Julie Ann is lovingly survived by her husband Lavern; children: Mark (Ruth) Ott, Kenneth (Chris) Ott, Tari Palmer, Gary (Lori) Ott, James (Lori) Carlson, and Amy (Dean) Cepress.
Also survived by grandchild: Richard (Rochelle) Ott, Jeremy (Jennifer) Meddaugh, Jesse (Lisa) Meddaugh, Jacob Ott, Erica (Ryan) Ludwig, Lindsey Ott, Michael (Lacey) Fulk, Amber Palmer, Megan (Nick) Sosalla, Brandon Carlson, and Allen Cepress. Julie Ann’s God child Joelle Hein and 14 great grandchildren.
Also survived by Brother-in-laws: Robert (Linda) Brandl, Leonard (Kathy) Brandl and Sister-in-laws Karen Mehlbrech and Norma Hamus.
Julie Ann was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; DuWayne Hamus and Sandi Hamus.
