Kathleen K. Kautzer Bloczynski, age 72, passed away early on the morning of November 21, 2024, at The House of The Dove in Marshfield, WI. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00am on December 2,2024 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home 1010 E. Veterans Pkwy, Marshfield, WI 54449.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Pkwy in Marshfield). Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Kathy was born on June 6th, 1952, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI the youngest child of Matthew and Carloyn (Hurd) Kautzer in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She graduated in 1970 from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She met her husband Jerry at the UW Madison-Marshfield campus in 1970.They were later married on May 27,1972. They had a daughter Jennifer Lynn in 1974.
Most of her career was at the Marshfield Clinic in the Department of Dermatology from 1978-2007. After she retired, she enjoyed traveling, reading, and waterfall exploring with her husband. Her ultimate love was quilting.
Kathy is lovingly survived by her husband Jerry, daughter Jennifer (Tom) Spuhler of Loyal, WI, two grandchildren Cheyanne Spuhler and Alexis (Caleb) Chirhart and two beautiful Great Grandchildren Kinsley and Weston. She is further survived by her three sisters Charlene (Dale)Kawleski, Plover, WI, Sharon Jesse, Oconomowoc, WI, and Kay Enerson Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed.
Kathy is proceeded in death by her parents Matthew Kautzer (Alabama) and Carolyn Kautzer (Marshfield), Brother in laws David Gruel, Phil Enerson and James Jesse.
