Kenneth Lee Dallman, age 79, of City Point, Wisconsin, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 26, 2025, at Marshfield Hospital in Marshfield, WI. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday September 13th, 2025, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 East Veterans Parkway in Marshfield, WI). Visitation will be held one hour prior to service and a potluck lunch will follow.
Kenneth was born April 23, 1946, the son of Vernard and Dorothy (Boldt) Dallman in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1964. On June 17, 1972, Kenneth was united in marriage to the love of his life, Linda, at Grace Lutheran in Nasonville, WI.
After graduation, Kenneth worked at Central State Bank in Marshfield, WI. This is also where he met Linda. He enlisted and served in the US Navy for four years and was stationed in Morocco. During this time, he oversaw the armed force radio station, including Friday night broadcasting. After being discharged, he gained experience and knowledge in TV sales and repair. In 1972, he and Linda married, and he began managing FS TV & Appliance in Black River Falls, WI. In 1984, Ken and Linda, along with her two brothers and their spouses purchased Ellis & Volz cranberry marsh. They were the third generation to take over ownership of the marsh, and in doing so renamed it Ellis, Ellis & Dallman, Inc. Kenneth was a member of the City Point Community Church, served on the City Point town board and on the volunteer fire department. He was a member of the American Legion post 0153.
In his spare time, he enjoyed activities such as bowling, roller skating, fishing, hunting, leather crafting, billiards, card games, and puzzles. He especially loved horseback riding. Those that knew Kenneth best will miss his smile, quick wit, and deep devotion to his faith, family and friends. Everyone who knew him could see his genuine love, hard work, and compassion shine through in every aspect of his life.
