Larry Warren Obituary

Larry L. Warren, age 74, of Marshfield, Wisconsin, passed away at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison on Saturday, November 30, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church (604 S Chestnut Ave) in Marshfield. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the Church on Tuesday. Internment will take place following the service at Immanuel Lutheran/Hillside Cemetery

Larry was born May 11, 1950, the son of Lawrence Warren and Isabelle Warren (Sturz) in Marshfield. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1968. On August 23, 1974 Larry was united in marriage to the love of his life Sally Warren in Bozeman, MT. In 1976 they moved back to Wisconsin where he began his 31 year sales and service career at Louie’s Refrigeration Service.  Larry finished his career at Custom Heating and Cooling.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and woodworking. He looked forward to deer camp, time at the lake and attending his grandkids sports and special events.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family telling dad jokes.  He looked forward to traveling, he enjoyed his breakfast at McDonald’s with the guys, and his face lit up when all the grandkids were in the same room.

Larry is lovingly survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally.  His three children: Christopher (Sara) Warren of Neillsville, WI; Heidi (Kevin) Fischer of Marshfield, WI and Stephanie (Cynthia Ortiz) Warren of Sun City, Arizona. 6 grandchildren: Amelia, Tessa, Brayden, Lexi, Jensen & Merrick.  He is further survived by 3 sisters, Faye Becker, Sharon (Bob) Heidger, and Barb (Donald) Gleisner.  Larry had a special bond with his nephew Ken.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Isabelle Warren and his brother Duane Warren.

Larry leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and his unwavering commitment to his family and friends. As we reflect on his life, we are reminded of the profound impact he had on everyone he met. We find comfort in the memories we shared, knowing that he will always hold a special place in our hearts. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
