Marilyn Margaret Eckhart
Born to life - May 25, 1944 - Born to Eternal Life - February 23, 2025.
Beloved Aunt of Richard Eckart, Kathleen (Stanley) Kucharski, Deborah (Edward) Taulman.
Loving Partner of Jerry Gerber for more than 40 years. His children. Kimberly (Thomas) Bergmann, Jeffery (Christina) Gerber; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a large family of 1st and 2nd cousins.
Marilyn was employed for 46 years at the Marshfield Clinic as a medical technologist specializing in hematology.
Marilyn’s life interests were water/snow skiing, golfing, casino games and vacations with Jerry.
Her fondness for cruising all over the world was shared with her longtime friend Margy.
They cruised the rivers of Europe, the Oceans of Australia, North and Central America. She was always
thrilled to explore the world.
Marilyn loved her community! She could be found at countless volunteer opportunities at the Marshfield Chapter 55 of the American Legion. Her love of volunteering would also find her at The Versiti Blood Center, voting precinct as a dedicated poll worker, and the Marshfield Clinic/Hospital.
She is also survived by a plethora of friends and the community she loved and served for many years.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving parents, Henry and Margaret (Mach) Eckhart; and her brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Eckhart.
Visitation will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home Wednesday, March 19, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
