Marilyn Luepke Obituary

Marilyn Luepke, age 68, of Marshfield, WI, passed away April 14th, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday April 23, 2022 with a Memorial Service to be held at 11:00 AM at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield.  Burial will take place at a later time at Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.

Marilyn was born April 14, 1954, the daughter of Frank and Agnes (Helfert) Bartnik in Marshfield as the youngest of 9 children. She graduated from Colby High School in 1972. She was united in marriage to Larry Hass in 1973, later divorcing. Together they had three children Carrie, Kimberly, and Nathan.  Marilyn then married Neil Luepke on April 24, 1987 in Marshfield.  He preceded her in death.  Through the last years of her life she was blessed to have her “Sweetie” Dale Hoernke by her side as her life partner.

She worked as a graphic designer at the Tribune-Phonograph, Agri-View Farm Paper, Performance Printing, and Heinzen Printing.  She enjoyed the last several years in retirement.

In the summer you could find her tending to her flower baskets and garden.  She also enjoyed shopping (while chatting with everyone). She especially enjoyed time spent with Dale, her family and grandchildren.

Marilyn is lovingly survived by Dale Hoernke, 5 children; Carrie (Dave Bores) Hass, Kimberly (Tony) Falduto, Nathan (Jody) Hass, Kim (Stacy) Luepke, and Todd Luepke, 14 grandchildren; Karly, Carson, Meliah, Kayla (Matt) Wolf, Victoria, Zachary, Claire, Sarah, Jacob, Leeah (Aaron) Zimmerman, Miles, Macie, Kaitlyn (Dominic) Butillo, and Sully, 3 great grandchildren; Diana, Alexa, and Madelyn, 6 brothers; Lawrence (Joanne) Bartnik, Frederick (Lauranne) Bartnik, Arthur (Judy) Bartnik, Roger (Irene) Bartnik, Eugene Bartnik, Richard (Teri) Bartnik, brother in law; Ron Ludwig, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She will truly be missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Charles, and sister Kathleen.
