Mark S. Kramas

Mark Kramas, 69, passed away early Friday, October 11, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield.  A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Verterans Pkwy, Marshfield, WI 54449). Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

Mark was born February 7, 1955, in Marshfield, the son of Paul Kramas and Esther (Kostrzewa) Kramas. He graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1973. On August 12, 1978, Mark was united in marriage to the love of his life, Carleen Schilling, at St. Bernard in Abbotsford.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, woodworking, playing in the polka band with his dad, and watching sports. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, babysitting, hunting, fishing, and causing havoc.

He especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family, but his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He enjoyed watching them play sports and was their biggest cheerleader. Those who knew him best knew him as an Animal and the life of the party.

Mark is lovingly survived by his wife, Carleen.  His children Amy Kramas (Jeremy Harger), Andrew Kramas (Wife -Megan), Travis Kramas (Wife-Aubrey), and his Grandchildren, Brooklyn Kramas, Jace Kramas, Rayden Kramas, Hailey Kramas, and Aryanna Kramas.  Siblings: David and Dottie Kramas, Paul and Marcy Kramas, Jack and Marlene Kramas, Joanne Kramas, Mike and Louise Wagner, James and Sally Kramas, and Denny and Donna Schilling, Mike and Barb Bruski, James and Joanne Schilling, and Brad and Kristine Slavinsky.  Many nieces and nephews further survive him.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Esther Kramas, stepmother Lucy Kramas, In-laws Karl and Marie Schilling, Siblings Doris Meyer, Tom Kramas, and Bruce Kramas, and his nephew, Ronnie Kramas.
