Mark Weiler, 69, of Auburndale, Wisconsin, died on August 3, 2025, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI, with family by his side.
The public visitation will be held from 4 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Parkway in Marshfield). Services will be private.
Mark was born on January 15, 1956, in Marshfield to Eugene and Rita (Ashbeck) Weiler. He was raised in Auburndale and graduated from Auburndale High School in 1974.
He was married to Sally Strobel on August 9, 1980, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Auburndale, WI. They had 5 children and later divorced.
Mark worked at the Wisconsin Rapids Paper Mill for 15 years before leaving to take over the family farm. He spent most of his time milking cows, but was happiest when he was in the tractor. He officially retired in 2019. He enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and taking trips out West. Mark was a devoted son, brother, father and grandfather.
Mark is survived by his children: Fallon Weiler, Preston (Travis) Weiler-Christie, Tyson (Kaeli) Weiler, Dillon Weiler, and Canyon (Hannah) Weiler; and eight grandchildren. Further survived by his mother, Rita; his siblings, Eugene (Peg) Weiler, Kay (Pat) Stashek, Jayne (Tom) Eckes, Brian (Carol) Weiler and Todd (Kathy) Weiler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene; and sister, Patti Kollross.
