Marlene Ann (Eisner) Hoffman

Marlene A. (Eisner) Hoffman, age 84, of Marshfield, passed away Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at the Marshfield Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 112 East 11th. Street Marshfield, on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the church. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home.

Marlene was born September 8th, 1937, the daughter of Frank and Olga Eisner in Marshfield Wisconsin.

She attended Columbus Catholic School where she graduated in 1955. She went on to attend nursing school.

On July 19th,1958, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Donald Hoffman, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. They resided together in Marshfield for over 62 years. Marlene retired from St. Joseph's hospital on April 26th, 2002 after almost 39 years where she worked in the birthing center and enjoyed taking care of all the babies.

In her spare time, she loved spending it with her family, playing cards, going to bingo, and bowling with friends. She also enjoyed going to the Purple Angels gatherings. Marlene had a love for animals and spending time with her kitties and many puppies.

People who knew her will miss her kind heart and warm smile. She was always a pleasure for everyone to be around. Marlene was truly loved by all and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Marlene is lovingly survived by her brother Jim Eisner of Marshfield, and her children Michael (Roxie) Hoffman of Schofield, Daniel (Julie) Hoffman of Dekalb, Ill., Rick (Laura) Hoffman of Marshfield, Bill (Carol) Hoffman of Marshfield, Sue (Dennis) Kuse of Marshfield, Cindy (Dale) Langjahar of Marshfield, Lisa Gates of Marshfield, Sara (Eric) Meyer of Arpin. She is further survived by 22 grandchildren, Gina, Tina, Shawna, Josh, Nikki, Jessica, Justin, Jason, Tony, Amy, Amanda, Kevin, Janell, Ashley, Jennifer, Kyle, Andi, Adam, Tyler, Logan, Brad, Zakary, and 29 great- grandchildren.

Marlene is preceeded in death by her loving husband Donald Hoffman, parents Frank and Olga Eisner, and siblings Rita Ann Eisner, and Carolyn (William) Landing. She is further proceeded in death by her In-Laws Ignatius and Adeline Hoffman, and extended family, Delores Hoffman, Gertrude Hoffman, Elmer Hoffman, Lorraine ( Walter) Hilt, Walter (Harriet) Hoffman and Grand Daughter Caitlyn Hoffman.
