Marvin “Marv” Kloos, of Rozellvile, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 66.
Born in 1958, Marv his life deeply connected to the land and the people around him. As a lifelong farmer, he cultivated more than crops-he nurtured a legacy of hard work, resilience, and respect for the earth. His hands bore the rhythm of the seasons: planting in spring, harvesting in fall, and always ready to lend a hand to neighbors in need.
Marv was also a skilled hunter, finding peace in the quiet woods and joy in the company of his family and friends. Those early mornings spent tracking deer and sharing stories became cherished traditions passed down through generations.
In addition to farming, Marv dedicated 30 years to building homes at Stratford Homes, where his craftsmanship and work ethic helped shape countless families’ futures. He took pride in every board, knowing his work would shelter generations to come.
Above all, Marv was a devoted family man. He took immense pride in his granddaughters and never missed a chance to cheer them on-from ice skating and volleyball to cheerleading and bowling. He was their biggest fan, always in the stands with a smile and words of encouragement.
Marv is survived by his children and granddaughters: Edward “Spike”, Holly, Kia, and Cami Jankovitz; Matt, Kim, Daelyn, and Kilyn Schecklman; Tommy Kloos (Derek Zenner).; siblings: Helen Kundinger, Kathy (Donald) Budtke, Mary (John) Stueber, Kenny Kloos, Ruth (Dan) Varsho, Cyril (Laurie) Kloos, Ronny Kloos, LaVern (Cindy) Kloos, Delored (Jim) Klemme, Glen JoAnn) Kloos, Carol (Larry) Kirsch, Jerry Kloos, Nancy (Lhoussain) Ougayour, and Irene (Brian) Ule. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom he loved dearly and who will carry forward the spirit of kindness and connection.
Marv was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Mary Kloos, brothers William and Donald Kloos, and numerous family members.
Marv’s legacy lives on in the fields he tended, the wood he wandered, and the hearts of those who loved him. His quiet strength, generous spirit, and unwavering support will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Night Hawk Dairy, 118899 Eau Plaine Rd. Stratford, WI 54484. All are welcome.
