On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Mary Bornbach, our loving wife and mother, peacefully passed away unexpectedly.
Mary was born on April 22, 1957 in Montgomery, AL to James and Frances Randolph. After graduating from high school, Mary worked for the State of Alabama. She then decided she needed a bigger adventure which prompted her to join the U.S. Army. While enlisted, she met and married Stratford native, Kurt Bornbach, her husband of 41 years. Post-Army, Mary (and Kurt) moved to Wisconsin and raised their only son, Kyle Bornbach.
Mary is pre-deceased by her parents and only sister, Ann Randolph. Mary is survived by her husband Kurt, son Kyle, daughter-in-law Amanda, and granddaughter, Vivian. Additional survivors include her siblings-in-law Keith (Theresa) Bornbach, Kevin Bornbach, Karen (Keith) Ives, and Karleen (John) Dietrich as well as her parents-in-law, Orville and Helen Bornbach.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E Veterans Parkway) on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 2:00 – 6:00pm, with a few memories shared along with Military Honors at approximately 5:00pm.
