Maxine Mary Hughey

Maxine Mary Hughey, age 91, of Colby, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 11, 2024, at the Marshfield Hospital in Marshfield.  A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM June 12, 2024, at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Hewitt, WI.

Maxine was born January 29, 1933, in Marshfield, WI, the daughter of James and Edith (Grosbier) Curtin.

Maxine is survived by her sister Mary Ellen (Curtin) Geoffroy of Wichita, KS.

Maxine is preceded in death by husband John Hughey; her parents: James and Edith; as well as siblings: James, Timothy, Audrey, Naomi (Sister Naomi, SSND), Jerome, Virjean (Sister Grace Marie, SSND), Darleen, Athleen, Marleen, Grace, Thomas, and Richard.
